ABOUT

IotaPunks is a community-driven collectibles NFT project.

It arose from the idea of using Cryptopunk as base design to then combine them with individual prominent features of well-known people from the IF.

Iota is very community oriented.

The IF maintained a close exchange with the community from the start. During this time, three familiar faces, especially in the German community, always stood out.

With Dom, Hans and Holger, as a community member, you could build up a close connection over time via Ask me Anything, Twitter and Discord-Voice Chat. The idea of the project arose from this connection.

So this is not a cheap copy of Cryptopunks, but a project in which the punks were individually adapted to the appearance and characters of our three protagonists.

With our project it was important for us to establish a close connection to the IF and the community.

In addition, it should be possible for everyone to own an NFT even with a small budget. We are by no means going to charge horrendous sums here.

Be part of it, we are only at the very beginning, and soooooon a lot is sure to happen.

NFT royalties give you a percentage of the sale price each time your NFT creation is sold on a marketplace. NFT royalty payments are perpetual and are executed by smart contracts automatically. With most market-places, you can choose your royalty percentage. 5-10% is considered a standard royalty.
Right, you can. However, by taking a screenshot of the NFT, this does not make you the rightful owner of the artwork.
IotaPunks grants you an unlimited, worldwide license to use, copy, and display your NFTs. IotaPunks NFT holders are given commercial rights to their specific NFT. You can sell it as you like. You are free to do anything you want to do with it. We’ve given you the licensing rights for the NFTs, but not for our logos, name or site images.
NFT stands for non-fungible token, which basically means that it’s a one-of-a-kind digital asset that belongs to you and (exclusively) only you. The most popular NFTs right now include artwork and music, but can also include videos and even tweets.

NFTs are designed to give you something that can’t be copied: ownership of the work (however, the artist can still retain the copyright and reproduction rights, just like with physical artwork). To put it in terms of physical art collection: anyone can buy a Monet print. But only one person can own the original version

In the context of digital art, NFT enables transparent and trackable ownership. Whenever an NFT gets transferred to someone else, it is recorded on the blockchain/tangle. And this record is completely accessible to anyone. By taking a screenshot of an NFT, this does not make you the rightful owner of the artwork.
The market for NFT is expected to grow rapidly owing to rapidly advancing digital economy, increasing awareness among consumers about crypto currencies, blockchain technology and NFT, rising trend of owing true, original, and real possessions such as music audio, movie, video, lyrics, pictures or portraits.
